Nature's Pollinator

If you think she looks yellow, you would not be wrong!

It is the colour a dog turns when it is covered in oilseed rape pollen.

Yellow Dog = Bad dog.

She ran off into the field of rape chasing pheasants, and reappeared 30 minutes later with open sores on her face from charging through the plants, and covered in stamens and pollen - she must have helped to fertilize most of the field by the look of her.
here she is, waiting by the door, hoping it will open so she can hide in her bed, rather than have the bath I'm preparing for her. . she hates having a bath. Which is strange considering how she loves the river!!

The water I tipped away was bright yellow, almost glow in the dark yellow!

The reward after was to play fetch in the garden while she dried off.

The bad dog is fast asleep at my feet now.
