Happy Lunar New Year

Gong Xi Fa Cai / Kung Hei Fat Choi, best wishes for happiness, health and prosperity in this Year of the Wooden Goat/Sheep. In the Chinese astrology there are 12 zodiacal signs, every sign lasting one year and 5 elements combined with the signs.

My husband was born in the last Year of the Wooden Sheep and this one will be his special year (turning 60 is a very special birthday for the Chinese, as it means the constellation combination of sign and element is the same as in the birth year). For today's Blip I've turned our orange /green glass goat figurine into a festive red new year's one. I pinched the Goat calligraphy character from Google and don't know the name of the person who made it with the Google app here.
