Cyclone Marcia

Cyclone Marcia is starting to make her presence felt. It will cross the coast tomorrow around 900km north of here in the early hours of tomorrow morning and quickly change from a cyclone to a tropical low. That means lots of rain. As far a cyclones go it looks intense but small.

Here in Brisbane system up north is dragging moisture in the for of rain over us. Not too intense yet but it looks like we are in for quite a soaking.

The track map of the system looks like it will track along the coastal inland, passing this way late tomorrow. Rain predictions vary but I suspect we'll have a few full rain gauges over the next few days.
