Derby's stunning Railway Cottages

Across the road from Derby Train Station is the triangular victorian civility of the 1840 Railway Cottages. Fine fine examples of domestic railway architecture these superbly designed terraces were saved from demolition in 1979 and now serve as private dwellings. Truly fantastic forward thinking design that is at once fresh ( with car-free streets) but is of an aesthetic searing with victorian heritage.
