Sir Edward Elgar

For me the greatest English composer. This wonderful image is painted go the back wall of the Elgar birthplace museum. It was his wish that the cottage where he was born and spent his very early years should be made into a museum which it was with the help of his daughter Carice. I usually walk round museums quite smartly but I took my time here, so much memorabilia including the desk at which he composed.
