The Forest Dragon

Forest dragons are nothing like the dragons you see in films like “Dragonheart” or “How to train your dragon”

For a start forest dragons are small and very, very shy and would never trouble themselves with terrorising villages or carrying off people.
They also cannot breath fire, but they do love warmth.
If you are very quiet as you walk through the forest you might be lucky enough to spot their golden scales gleaming in the sun as they laze at the foot of a tree in the afternoon sun.
Even so, it will soon spot you and quickly scurry off into the undergrowth leaving you to wonder what on earth it was, because no one in this age of texts and novelty onesies believes in mythical forest guardians.
