Herrings On A Red Background

Herring is "der Hering" in German but they don't have "Red Herring" as an expression or even "der rote Hering".

I would tell you about my day but there isn't much to tell.  Although this afternoon was fun in a programmer-y way.

I'm being a bit rubbish on Blip at the moment and I know I'm neglecting lots of people.  It's not intended as a snub at all.  I'm just very, very tired and I think I may take a Blip-break.
