This is more like it!

This little beauty is a mid 19th Century parlour guitar - really typical of the period.

The table is of incredibly tight-grained spruce which I wasn't quite able to match with my insets.

The white strips in the binding & in the soundhole decoration are interesting - they're made from the amazing stuff that stiffened up my grannie's corsets!

Whale bone!!

It'll look much better when I've given it a coat or two of this special oil we've got! :o)
