Whiplash

Hmmm... Filmhouse Nachos... we've been on a mission to see all Best Picture Oscar Nominees and tonight we completed that with Whiplash (No sign of any Shades!) - woah, lived up to all the reviews and what an ending which is quite a feat given it's about drumming! We were on the edge of our seats...

Well I say completed... we chose not to go see American Sniper, not that I don't want to see it, but just it doesn't feel like it should be there. It's been a fab year for films, as usual most nominated films were released in the last 2 months. Of the 8 films (or 7 that we've seen), we've loved them all. I reckon 5 of them have a great chance although think it will come down to 2. Will work out my predictions on Sunday...
