Kayak Safety-Rescue Class

The kayak safety-rescue class we attended this evening was really fine.

It is designed for flat water kayakers like ourselves.

Lots of good information provided along with in the water experience.

It allowed us to capsize our boats to learn what to do to handle the situation.

My Kathy was very brave to deliberately flip her boat despite her gut telling her not to do it.

The warm pool water was acutally very pleasant to splash around in.

Two hours of boating fun and valuable learning experience.

Best part is we get to do it again next week!

I'll remember my waterproof camera next time for some fun shots in the water.
