Wednesday, February 18, 2015 -- Sunset

We spent the late afternoon visiting with our grandson Emerson. We arrived home last Saturday from the Central Coast and had not seen him because he moved out of our house about a week before we got home. Emerson had a chance to rent a house with several of his buddies and that is what he had wanted to do since before he moved in with us last June 1.

So we were disappointed, but not surprised. He had been living here rent free; now he'll be paying $400.00 a month (makes no sense to us). It was great to have him here while we spent extended vacations at the coast. He would keep the pool filled, water the few plants in the backyard, and bring in the mail. He was an easy and comfortable house mate.

So when Emerson left this afternoon, this is what the sky looked like. So we put the leashes on the 3 pooches and went for a walk.
