Morning harvest

There is something deeply satisfying about gathering my own food.  It's a meditative task which involves all my senses.  The act of harvesting involves sight, touch, smell and of course the irresistible urge to taste!  I was also soothed by the smell of crushed time and brushed rosemary.  Hmmmm.   We've been gorging on little tomatoes for days and I've made tubs of tomato sauce out of the larger ones.  Some of the tomatoes have such weird shapes and no doubt would have been thrown out by a commercial farmer, but they taste just as good inside and have the added benefit of stimulating the imagination!!
The gems are also really yummy and so filling.
