Time and Tide wait for no-one

One of quite a few hardy swimmers steps out on Brighton Beach with dread.  Today is the day when the tide is at its lowest and so there is an icy walk out until she can do that awful leap into the cold water at the end. (Are they mad?). Later today, the water will rise by 7ms.  As the sea was out, I was able to stand on this spot on the beach and capture the remains of the West Pier from a different angle. (It is an extremely popular photographic subject so you have to think of a different viewpoint).  Got up at 4.30 to get this capture.
