Lichens and Buds.

We went on a walk along a very little used stretch of canal this morning and there were all these bushes with these wonderful lichens growing on them and this one was just bursting into life, a nice comparison of slow growing lichens and fast growing new life. Also a chance to practise with the Macro setting. Hope you all had a bit of sun today.
