Moving onwards

Today we bought & put up some lampshades. When we first moved in there were just bare wires in the living room. We put bulbs up fairly quickly so we could see! And now they have shades on, so we're making progress. Such a small thing, but one more thing ticked off the to do list :)

We even bought them to match the sofa (not that anything else really matches!). One day I dream that we will have matching furniture and decor, rather than our hodgepodge of bits we've been given or acquired... Although I do like the fact that everything has a story :)
