Lampshade

Leucojum vernum, flowering amongst the snowdrops and superficially similar.  The English name is Spring Snowflake but the flowers always remind me of lampshades, six equal overlapping petals, each ending in a decorative tip.

A day of tidying, sorting, cooking and gardening ... and the sun shone ... a good day.
