The Lost Day

I woke up still feeling a bit unwell from my cold, and decided not to visit Mum today and risk giving it to her just as she's recovered from the one she's had.  After calling at about 8.30 this morning to let her know, I fell asleep again and didn't wake up until lunchtime.  After a brief trip out to get some cash and groceries I returned home for some more rest.  I've felt out of sorts and rather lost today, and really missed seeing Mum.  Then I realised that this has been the first full day I've spent entirely alone at the flat since the day Dad died.
