the elephant again

With only three utterances in the form of questions about what was going on Edgar did very well at behaving correctly during his first film-at-a-cinema in the form of Shaun the Sheep the Film. Although some of the vocalisations were dangerously close to verbal comprehensibility (compared to the entirely understandable but technically gibberish stuff in the series) and the presence of sensical written data in the scenery it worked as well as the telly version, happily also including the Shaun the Sheep incarnation of Timmy rather than the less-effective Timmy Time version. It is amusing that there are as many "Why did the [character] [action] the [whatever]?" from it as there were from each Star Wars and ostensible kidsfilms such as Wall-E or E.T., though luckily the latter did not beget the questions "What's a douchebag?" or "Why did that boy call the other boy penis-breath?" when it turned out to be PG rather than U in both certification and content.

We'd been to the Dragon Museum prior to the film and returned there again afterwards, after a short biscuit in the Elephant Café, which at some point seems to have finally got rid of the original board describing all the available types of tea and coffee.
