One Day Like This...

A little particle physics

Who DOESN'T have a little particle physics in the garden? (Not MY garden, I might add)

Do you know the Quark song?

This is a photo I took last May at an incredible garden.

The Garden of Cosmic Speculation, near Dumfries, is open only one day a year, usually in May.

It's the 30 acre garden of architecture theorist Charles Jencks and his late wife Maggie Keswick (you've heard of 'Maggie's Centres'? - yes - THAT Maggie!)

The garden's design is guided by the fundamentals of modern physics and, according to Jencks, brings out the basic elements that underlie the cosmos.

I go most years - although it doesn't really change too much, It's just a completely breathtaking place to visit.

I'll post a few more images of the garden another day.
