Squatters!

You go away for a few days and what happens? A family of squatters moves in - that's what happens.
The Mallard family have grabbed a prime spot underneath the bird feeder on the lawn where they can catch whatever the rooks and pigeons drop. Then, once their crops are full they head off to the garden pond for their morning ablutions.
Earlier in the year Ma Mallard and her suitors ate all the frog spawn in the same pond!
