Spring Springing

Odd observation of the day - the bakery where I buy rolls on a Sunday charges 5 cents more than it does during the week.

When it comes to Sundays Germany is very different to Britain.  There are virtually no shops open - apart from what are called Kiosks (small general stores) and shops in railway stations and airports, you can't shop on a Sunday.

I can't help but feel that this is a Good Thing.

Who ate the weekend? 

I think we need to reorganise the week - 4 day weekend and 3 day working week.  And we still get paid the same.
