MonoMonday.........

................... Ancient Buildings

Compared to many countries, New Zealand was settled by Europeans in very recent times.
This also means we don’t have many Ancient buildings, especially where I live in the town of Motueka which is at the top of the South Island.

This attractive looking red brick building was built in 1913 to replace an older school building.
It is situated in the main street of the town and now houses the local Museum, the Motueka & District Historical Assn research room, and a Cafe.

Thanks to JoanneInOz for hosting MonoMonday for the month of February.

It has been grey with showers today. We really appreciate every drop of rain at the moment.

Thank you for all the lovely comments and stars for the flower bud yesterday. I really am having fun learning how to use the extension tubes.
