They're coming . . . !

Up on the cliff top this morning with Ollie I spotted this ship coming into Scapa Flow.  She is HMSPortland, a type 23 frigate, for those of you who are keen on knowing such details!  Not a great shot as she did rather blend in with the colour of the sea - probably designed to do just that!

The hills of Hoy are dusted with snow, but we've not had any hereabouts.

Other boaty news - I perched on a ladder and unscrewed a couple of stanchions and fores'l sheet lead tracks in the freezing cold while The Skipper was inside the boat, removing the nuts and washers!  Married life is great!
