A cooriedog walk could not be avoided today.  Ws set off when the weather was calm.  As we were approaching the furthest part of the walk, the wind got serious and the sleet started driving in.  It always seems to happen at the furthest point.

As I trudged back, I reflected how easy it was for a cocker spaniel to walk between the conifers and well protected from the storm.  I concluded she was part of the same conspiracy that ensured the storm hit at the most inconvenient time.

The blip is of a post which supported the metal wire.  Now it is the metal wire holding the ageing post together.
