Mono Monday - Ancient Buildings

This is said to be the only house in the City of London that survived the Great Fire of London in 1666. It was built between 1597 and 1614. It's down a tiny side street (Cloth Fair) that I'd never been down before this morning when I went looking for it on my way to work. More information about the house is here, And according to an old estate agent listing I found on the internet, the last time it was on the market, the asking price was almost Six Million Pounds!

I'll have to go back to explore some more sometime as it was an interesting area.
