Mr Perkins braves the windowsill.

On the boat, there was nowhere he could go to look out the window himself. He liked being held up at the window so he could see out and watch the swoopy birds.

He appreciated being held up at the front window when we were on the move, too: it made it a lot less scary for him.

Now, he can get onto the windowsill on his own, but the view isn't as good and he is frightened by everything he sees and hears, such as Mr Pandammonium coming up the stairs behind him.
