Alberta hoar frost

My son tells me that the hoar frost stays on the trees for weeks at a time in Alberta. It's very beautiful, leaving the landscape looking soft and beautiful. I had another picture I was tempted to post from this day - all snow and sky and a tiny horizon line to mark the difference between the sky and the snow. But the hoar frost won out.
