Always a rainbow.

That's the thing with kids isn't it? They might be little bastards who make you tear your hair out and your day feel rainy, but then they beam out some golden sunshine and make a rainbow.

Littlest One made this rainbow in his Forest School session at pre-school a few weeks ago. I stuck it in with the herbs on my kitchen windowsill, because I figure that no matter how grey the day, for whatever reason, I'll always know there's a rainbow.

Incidentally, those two paragraphs were unrelated. My kids haven't driven me mad today. They've actually been quite nice. Mostly.
