First visit of 2015

Don't get down to the allotment in the winter but I nipped down this evening, a bit late as you can see, to pick up what was left of the black weed suppressant stuff.
It certainly seems to be doing it's job, the mess down near the front is the dead leaves in the strawberry patch. Need to sort it out when we get a few good dry days.
Further up you can see where we had the onions, which we are still using and dozens still hanging in the garage. Haven't bought an onion since last September, which is great because we use loads.

I'm going to roll the black stuff back and give it a dig over and take out what few weeds there are popping up in the holes. Certainly makes life a lot easier.
