Craning their necks . . . . .

There are folk on the beach, eyes upwards, watching that huge 150 tonne crane lifting a barrel (fuel?) over to the excavators working on the cliff. You'll see that there's only one house left, right at the far end. Actually I think that there is another one but it's out of sight. People seem to stop for ages, watching the crane working. There's a lot of real estate up there that'll never be built on again.
