Ryan Adams at the Usher Hall, during the song 'New York, New York'.

He's been dogged with a reputation for being a bit of a brat (walking off stage mid-song, rants against audience members etc) but last night he was on pretty good form I thought, even joking with a few minor hecklers.  It was quiet though - they were using some pretty massive amps on stage (you can see one in this photo) but didn't seem to plugged into the PA.  Maybe that was an attempt to create an 'intimate' atmosphere or something.  Might have helped if the guys away off to the right of me hadn't talked through all the acoustic numbers (despite the increasingly urgent 'shhh' calls from other people).  Nobody paid to listen to your inane drunken ramblings, you muppets.  Needed one of these STFU T-Shirts
