You know you're not in NZ when

there are signs like this in shop windows.

And ones on houses with a picture of a large gun and the words We Don't Dial 911 underneath.

And nature reserve buildings, libraries and museums have notices on the door saying no unlicensed firearms. (Therefore licensed ones are OK? Really? In these places?)

Sometimes it's very nice to live in a small country a long way from anywhere.

The 2nd amendment is:
