Sax Season

Saxifraga cotyledon, another Silver Sax. A true rock plant, I have seen it growing in the wild, looking like this (not my image.) A plant with year round value as the rosette of leaves is always attractive. Although the main rosette dies after flowering there are often side rosettes to take it's place. If not the dust-like seed can be sown to give new plants which will flower in two to four years time.
