Sunday Gatherings

We stayed at my brothers house last night in Ross on Wye. We were babysitting his wife and kids as he went out to a gig (The Enid if anyone is interested!).

It's been a bit of a tough start to the year for my brother and wife, as my sister in laws dad died a couple of weeks back, the funeral is this week. We wanted to go up and try and spread a little cheer to keep their spirits up.

Mum and dad joined us for Sunday lunch in the Hope and Anchor in Ross itself. It was far to wet and wild to go for a walk along the banks of the river Wye after the meal, which was a shame. The meal itself was okay. We had a laugh at mum and dad, who shared a pudding and then ordered another one to share as the first one was too small! Wafflegate was born!

As I say, there is a tough week ahead, but hopefully this weekend has gone some way to making things a little easier ...
