Fasnet

The last day of the 'carnival', 'Fasching' or 'Fasnet' period today. We ate loads of pancakes, some people dressed up in traditional Fasnet costumes and got together with others who were doing the same. In the last few days there have been lots of parades in the villages. Don't know if there was one today. This photo was taken at Ulm station. Not so much of the dressing up going on here, but mum & dad, this is one of the men in a skirt and stripey stockings that we were talking about.
