Stripes of Forest

From the top of the Wallighurli, at 2050m you could see: the Dents du Midi, the Diableret peaks, the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau and many others that I did not recognise. But the strangeness of these lines of trees picking out the ridges, drew my attention. Then a helicopter flew in! Swirling snow, winds and suddenly loads of wealthy people who had come from Gsaad! We had skinned (walked up) there on our touring skis. My trusty Olympus EM5 got plastered in snow again but still performed well taking photos of my friend skiing in the powder on the descent. Thank you Claudine, I love going to new places.
