I realise that Degas was not referring to DIY when he said this but the same can definitely be said of decorating. I resigned myself a long time ago that all the family decorating would fall on my shoulders. Now I'm not quite sure how this came about, although one possible reason could be that I am an artist. A second reason could be that I am a perfectionist. Maybe a combination of the two, who knows? 
I have spent over 12 hours sanding, filling and glossing at my Daughter's new house. I got home after 8.30pm, with my Granddaughter, as her room is filled with paint fumes. One room done, just the rest of the house to do! 
I need another holiday :))
On top of all this I had to quickly think of a 400th blip. Sorry it's not very original but I'm shattered.
