Samoan buses

Today G and l went into the capital, Apia, again. This is a nice little town built on the waterfront. l posted some tapa paintings l had bought previously and G did some odds and sods. We stopped at the Bahai temple on the way in - what a peaceful place this is. These temples always are architecturally splendid with 9 doors opening around the building to the 9 main religions of the world. Beautiful gardens.

The photo today is of some of the fantastically coloured local buses. The buses are all privately owned by someone from each village and that is the destination they go to and from. They all have names like Princess Poto, Queen Patsy, Bumble Bee and religious ones such as Kingdom Come (not whilst l am on it l hope)
