The Lighted Life

Alley Catting

Today was another day of severe oxygen deprivation. But, after a while you giddy. And, then. you talk yourself into trying different things. Like skulking....in alley ways......with a camera. At first, the alley ways are different and exciting with interesting people in them. And so you walk , and, you dodge the rain. But, you eventually realize that all the alley ways look...and smell...the same. So you blip as fast as you can and, after a while, you tire of the alley ways and you return to work and, then soon again, wish you were still in the alley. So you leave work early and download the images on your home computer and you play with the funny little slider buttons. And then, sadly, you see that this image is the best of the eight you have.

And,upon seeing that this image is your best image, you immediately tell your wife that you want to go out and drink sake and eat sushi and, then, drink much more sake. So you do.

And when you are drinking sake, you create a plan for tomorrow where you will overshoot the commute to your workplace by just 180 miles so you can spend an extra day at your cabin in the northerm woods.......where there is more oxygen......... and more fun things to blip....and, possibly, more sake.

And, to those in Nottingham, if Thursday is the new Friday, sake is the new mojito.

Thank you for the wonderful comments on my pinched elbow blip. I did not have a chance to view many images or thank you individually today but I hope to catch up with you all over the four day weekend ahead.
