Out and about so soon.

After a week indoors it was good to get out in the sunshine!

A week ago today I was given my new hip. The operation went well, and afterwards I was well looked after in hospital. It was a struggle moving at all to start with, but I'm making good progress. On Tuesday I came home where I am being cared for by Normous and my dear sister who has come to stay for a few days. I am making the most of being waited on!
When I saw the sunshine this morning I just needed to get out there and we had a lovely drive through the Surrey lanes. It will probably be five weeks before I can drive myself so blipping may be intermittent. There is a limit to how much one can blip at home!
