Light reading, pit stop eating and hospitals

A trip down to Falkirk today to visit my mum who has been poorly and is currently in Forth Valley Royal.

I thought I'd take her a magazine to pass the time, something I decided against pretty quickly having seen this sorry lot. Why are they all so negative, I wonder? Are people really that keen to read such stories of horror?

The highlight of my day - apart from visiting mum - was the macaroni cheese served up in the hospital restaurant. It didn't taste of much but brought back those school dinner memories.
