The Beautiful Dales

After a wet run this morning, I collected my friend Laura for a long planned trip to Bolton Abbey. The morning rain meant it was very quiet there, but the sun shone for some of the afternoon and we enjoyed a very pleasant walk from the priory up to the strid and then back down via the Cavendish for some warming soup.
