Kathleen Ferrier

Borrowed this CD from the Queen Diva and have to say it is fabulous.

If you have never heard of her she was born 22 April 1912 at Higher Whatton near Preston England but did not begin her singing career until 1942 and just over 10 years later she died of cancer.
