Bohuntin Hill

We finished in Callander and drove home in daylight. At the section of A82 where everyone takes a photo stop, Lochan na h-Achlaise and may be a mile north, there were a couple of serious looking photographers (well they had tripods and expensive looking outdoor clothing). I was left bemused at their positioning about 3 feet from the edge of the A82 bitmac. They had taken the time to pull over, get dressed for the conditions, then walk ten paces from the car door in pursuit of the perfect image..Am I missing something?

Caley certainly isn't lazy. I arrived home still wearing my work gear and he takes that as an invitation to get a walk. It wasn't so ferocious as last Friday night and we had a good wee tramp up Bohuntin Hill. This picture is deceiving as this part of the summit is wind blown bare of snow. The ascent, and descent, -off to the right in this image- was through deep energy sapping snow.
