Hovis Hill.

1973 when 13year old Carl Barlow pushed his bakers bike up Gold Hill, and then freewheeled down. The ad for Hovis bread was directed by a young Ridley Scott. For his two days of filming Carl was paid £60. He later went on to have a career as a Fireman in London. The iconic ad   was voted No 1 in 2004, ahead of Bisto, MilkyBar Kid, Ferreo Rocher, Milk Tray, etc. Might of changed since then, will have to ask Richard of Pointless.
The Hill is in Shaftesbury, Dorset, and has of course been photographed  a million times. Met four tourists all the way from Japan, who came to walk up and down it today.
