Bundes-boxes

This is my friend Rob, from Sydney, inside an art installation at the German Parliament building (the Reichstag) in Berlin.

The installation is made of thousands of boxes with the names of the former members of the Bundestag on each one, in date order, up to the date the installation was built. It contains around 5,000 boxes and there is one, single black box without any label that represents the Nazi period of German history.

You can take a free guided tour of the building and if you're ever in Berlin, I highly recommend it (advance booking required though).
