Jekyll Island

We traversed north to Jekyll Island in southern Georgia today. Upon arriving what struck us first was a drop in temperature of twenty degrees. It was only made worse by a stiff northerly wind off the ocean. Chilled would be a kind way of describing our reaction.

I'm leading worship at a church in the adjoining town of Brunswick tomorrow morning so once again we found ourselves visiting a new beach community. The island though cold is really a beautifully natural place.

A quick spin around the island revealed this raw image of the natural coastline. Tomorrow we hope to spend the afternoon exploring the rest of the island.

Pray on...
