El Pipila

A view of the homes on the hill at El Pipila, Tijuana B.C. They look like quaint little houses nestled on the hillside. They are anything but. People here have little money. They were five years ago immigrants seeking to cross the U.S. Border. Life savings given to "coyotes" who left them broke. They settle. Their bright colored houses disguise their hurts. They are close, so close. They see the border, just out of reach.
