The Big Thaw

... seems to have started this morning with rain pouring down. It was so bad that my friend and I turned around at this path junction after only 20 minutes walking. After all, we could just as easily eat our picnic in her chalet! Porridge snow and old knees are not a great idea.

Thanks for all the hearts, stars and appreciative comments for the "proper" snow scene yesterday, now the Coufin will be so soggy!
