Sleet showers

C and I were up and off early this morning to join an archeological dig. We arrived at the forest south of West Calder at the same time as a sleet blizzard - so we waited a bit. Even once it had stopped it was pretty. The site is an old cairn. Cold hands and discovering that archeologists scrape rather than dig eroded C's enthusiasm so we only stayed for an hour or so.
